Melissa J. Mixonelcome to Mississippi State University's Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine. The university's strong teaching, research, and service programs in agriculture, forestry, veterinary medicine, and natural resources are coordinated here.

The "Division" is one of five at MSU and consists of the six major units shown to the right on this page. Please visit the Web sites of each unit as well.

Activities of all the units are coordinated through the Division Council, which includes the Deans and Directors of each major unit.

The teaching, research and/or extension activities within each major unit are conducted in 17 major disciplines or areas.

Mississippi State University is truly a statewide institution. Our programs improve life for every citizen in every county in every community every day. Besides our main campus in Starkville, we have Extension offices in all 82 counties and Branch Experiment Stations and Research Units in 15 locations.
