This database consists of methods, taken largely from the peer-review scientific literature, for matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry on a wide variety of synthetic polymers. These methods have not necessarily been tested by the Characterization and Measurement Group of the Polymers Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), nor does NIST claim the database to be a comprehensive list of all methods to be found in the literature. This database is provided solely as a resource for the mass spectroscopy community.
