TV Coverage of the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama will run from 1630 to 1800 UTC on January 20, 2009. Millions of Americans are expected to attend this event as the nation honors the incoming president with formal ceremonies, including: the Presidential Swearing-in Ceremony and the Inaugural Address.

VOA’s David Borgida and National Correspondent Jim Malone will anchor the Inaugural coverage out of Studio 48 with special guest, Presidential Historian Prof. Allan Lichtman. Together they will set the scene and provide commentary for this history-making event.
