Ground Transportation
IndyGo's Route 8
Providing non-stop service from Indianapolis International Airport to Downtown
Indianapolis. IndyGo's Route 8 also serves the Indianapolis International
Airport. Buses run every 20 minutes daily 5 a.m.-9 p.m. The Green Line times are
approximate and may vary due to road and traffic conditions. Passengers may pay
with credit card (Visa or Mastercard) on the bus or purchase fare passes in
advance by calling IndyGo, visiting them online or in person at the kiosk in
Ground Transportation, Indianapolis International Airport. Bus Fare: $7 per
trip. Including eight convenient stops near 16 downtown hotels. The route stops
across the street from the Marriott Indianapolis Downtown and the Hyatt Regency
Indianapolis. The Omni Severin and the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis are only a two
block walk from the Convention Center bus stop
Carey Indiana Airport
Shuttle
Roundtrip shuttle service transportation from Indianapolis International Airport
to Downtown Indianapolis is available through Carey Indiana. Both private
shuttle service and share-a-ride service are available through
Carey Indiana
(www.careyindiana.com)
The one-way fee
for Share-A-Ride shuttle service between the airport and Downtown Indianapolis
is $16 per person. ESA has acquired a discount coupon for the Share-A-Ride
shuttle service that is good for $1 off the one-way fee, each way. A coupon
will be available soon.
When arriving at the
Indianapolis International Airport, please go downstairs to the lower baggage
area to claim your luggage. Proceed out the terminal exit doors and follow the
signs directing you to the "Ground Transportation Center". The Center is located
directly across the street from the terminal on the ground level of the parking
garage. Go inside the glass enclosed building and make contact with the Carey
representative at the Carey Indiana booth. If a representative is not present,
pick up the direct dial courtesy phone for immediate assistance. Please allow 10
minutes for your vehicle to arrive.
Taxi Service
Taxi
Service is located outside the airport (exit near baggage claim #3) on the first
level of the parking garage. Fares from the Indianapolis International Airport
to Downtown Indianapolis will range $30-$40. Be sure to confirm the fare with
your driver prior to getting into the cab.

A
variety of hotel accommodations at reduced prices have been negotiated for your
stay in Indianapolis. ESA is held financially responsible for utilizing blocks
of rooms at the hotels. Please support the ESA by making your reservation
through the Indianapolis Housing Bureau with one of the official Annual Meeting
hotels.
The
Indianapolis Housing Bureau will be coordinating housing reservations by mail,
fax and on-line requests. Information on each of the official Annual Meeting
hotels will be available on July 13, 2009.
