    Art to mark euro for Cyprus and Malta

    Two exhibitions at the London offices of the European Commission, in association with the Cyprus and Malta High Commission's, mark the accession of those two countries to the euro on 1 January 2008. Sweet wrappers, satsuma bags, pen tops, plastic bags, bottle tops, telephone wire, newspaper, old clothes pegs, and cardboard were the perfect, recycled ingredients for bringing to life its 'bird tree' which featured on the front of the card.
