NSDL's Community Sign-On (CSO) service allows nsdl.org users to access additional services on nsdl.org and NSDL partner sites that have implemented CSO without having to separately sign-in with those partner sites. Registering for an NSDL account on nsdl.org is voluntary and requires online submission of the following user information: a username, a personal password, and an email address. Nsdl.org and NSDL partners use this information to allow access to appropriate content, or to personalize content based on an area of interest or need. The email address is used only for retrieval of lost passwords and for user account maintenance. Email addresses will not be redistributed to any third party except under court order, nor are they used to track usage.
