Operation Clean Desert
FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS:
Operation Clean Desert is a set of activities following the
adventures of Dr. Proton and Adam the Atom as they learn about the
Nevada Test Site. The activities are geared toward teaching elementary
age school children about different environmental activities such as
groundwater and waste disposal. The set of activities include an
interactive display, an activity book, and an interactive computer game.
The display is an excellent resource for teachers to utilize and can be
loaned to schools and libraries. To enhance the display, the activity
book, which includes coloring pages, word searches, and puzzles, can be
downloaded and printed from this site. For those children interested in
on-line learning, the final activity is an interactive computer game
which allows children to make decisions with Dr. Proton and Adam.

Download the activity book which is full of things to color and puzzles
to solve dealing with the groundwater and waste disposal. Or if computer
games are more your speed, we have an interactive game that is a lot of
fun! So take a few minutes and come learn and play with us.
