Academics

The School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences provides students with the understanding and skills to address the problems of the agricultural economy, and to help those involved in it lead more productive and satisfying lives. From management sciences to diet and nutrition, the School of Agriculture provides opportunities for rewarding careers in teaching, extension, agricultural-related business, fashion, research, and government.

Our four academic departments are the Department of Agribusiness, Applied Economics and Agriscience Education; the Department of Animal Sciences; the Department of Human Environment and Family Sciences; and the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design.  Within these departments, students will find a myriad of opportunities for classroom learning, research and field work.
