    • Bachelor of Science in crop science (business and management), 1986, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas

Locke serves as the soil and crops specialist on consulting team NF-4. He is responsible for assisting cooperators with soil fertility evaluation and recommendations, weed and pest management recommendations and assistance with agronomic crop production.

Prior to joining the Noble Foundation in 2004, Locke managed a private contract research company in west Texas and eastern New Mexico. In that capacity, he worked with a wide variety of agronomic and horticultural crops, conducting research on herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, adjuvants, fertilizers and additives.

He is a member of the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants.

Locke grew up in Lubbock, Texas.
