UMass Extension brings a wealth of information resources to your disposal on a variety of topics related to our mission “to improve the health, well-being and security of youth, families and communities; to conserve and enhance natural resources; and to strengthen agriculture and food systems.”

Choose From Three Types of Information Resources
For each of the topics below, you will find up to three types of information:

UMass Extension’s own information resources. These have been developed or assembled by the faculty and staff of our four programs, working in the academic departments of the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

eXtension resources. Information from the national Cooperative Extension System, brought to you by a system called eXtension, a web-based interface with carefully- selected resources on a variety of topics.

Information from other non-affiliated organizations. You will find sources of information from other organizations not affiliated with the University of Massachusetts. While we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information, all these sites have been reviewed and approved for inclusion by faculty or staff members of UMass Extension programs in relevant areas.
