About UsDear Arkansan:Since 1905, when J. A. Evans was appointed state agent for Arkansas and Louisiana, some form of Extension educational work has occurred in Arkansas. The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service is very proud to have faculty in every county of the state who live and work with the citizens they serve. Extension educational programs touch all segments of our society: youth, families, community and, yes, farmers. The Extension faculty work hard to meet the needs of the people they serve, leaving nothing undone that might contribute toward success. I trust you will visit the University of Arkansas Extension website often, perhaps even bookmarking it for future visits. You will find something useful each time. If you have a need to stop by your county office, please do so. Our goal is to provide non-formal education to all Arkansans. Arkansas is truly our campus.
