Before Wackenhut Services Inc. (WSI) won the contract in 1965,
Federal Services, Inc. provided security for the Nevada Test Site.
Although the mission of the security forces has not changed over the
last 42 years, uniforms, communication equipment and vehicles are
substantially different.
