FRMAC Calendar

These activities require participation by the U.S. Department of Energy, Nevada Site Office's Federal Radiological Monitoring and Assessment Center (FRMAC) staff to ensure that constant communication and coordination between other federal emergency assets and the states are taking place.

An essential element to the success of the FRMAC is its awareness of each state's needs when it comes to emergency situations. State Outreach Programs and Ingestion Pathway Exercises (IPX) are two ways that the U.S. Department of Energy works with each state to ensure its readiness in the event of a real-world nuclear reactor incident. Both Outreach and IPX activities are scheduled preparedness events where federal, state and local assets exercise their capabilities and learn where improvements are needed to ensure that all elements are ready in the event of an emergency response situation.

If you should have any questions regarding the calendar or would like to add an event, please contact Colleen O'Laughlin at olaughlin@nv.doe.gov
