Community Advisory Board

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) for Nevada Test Site Programs (NTS CAB) is comprised of volunteer members who represent Nevada stakeholders by reviewing and commenting on environmental restoration and waste management activities at the Nevada Test Site. The NTS CAB members bring a variety of perspectives to the Board on issues of significant concern to the region. Members bring scientific and technical expertise to the Board, including rural interests, environmental concerns, or local government viewpoints. Board members also represent personal, tribal, economic, and business interests.

NTS CAB sub-committees study environmental management issues, such as radioactive waste management and environmental restoration activities, and provide recommendations to the full Board. Meetings are open to the public and participation is encouraged.
