Charmaine and Maurice Kaplan Theater

All film times subject to change daily. Giant-screen theater included with admission. Assistive Listening Devices for films and lectures in the Charmaine and Maurice Kaplan Theater are available at the Visitor Services Desk.

         Shown daily: noon and 4 PM

10 AM presentation of Ocean Oasis available weekdays for school groups by reservation only. groupregistration@sdnhm.org

   • Planet Earth: Pole to Pole (50 minutes)

Shown daily: 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM

• Human Body: Pushing The Limits—Brain Power (40 minutes)

Shown daily: 2 PM

Dinosaur Café
Conveniently located in the atrium of the San Diego Natural History Museum, the café is the ideal place to rest and recharge before or after a visit to the Museum. Managed by the Cohn Restaurant Group, the café features a wide assortment of sandwiches and salads as well as soups, pastries, and gourmet coffee and tea beverages.
