The HCS department offers many web-assisted courses. In these classes, various aspects of the course may be available online, e.g., course syllabus, reading list, practice quizzes or even lecture notes. However, students need to enroll for the course using normal registration procedures. Attendance in class varies but the course is NOT 100% web-based. Alternatively, "Introduction to Horticulture" (HCS100d) is 100% web based. Course enrollment is limited to 18 students per offering and registration is handled through normal OSU procedures. The course provides students with 4 units of academic credit. View syllabus and course outline.
