The Graduate Program for the Department of Horticulture & Crop Science (H&CS) at The Ohio State University would like to invite you to The Annual H&CS Graduate Research Retreat and Open House. This event will be held October 3 and 4 (Friday afternoon and evening, and Saturday) and will provide prospective students the opportunity to learn more about the H&CS graduate program. See Flyer Who should attend? students who are interested in pursuing a graduate education and are currently undergraduate juniors or seniors, master students, or recent graduates. Information will be presented on the following areas of specialization: Breeding and Genetics On Friday our visitors will have the opportunity to tour the campus and interact with our graduate students and faculty. We will have a dinner in the Arboretum Learning Gardens Gazebo and Kottman Hall. You will be able to ask any questions you may have about current research or what's it like to be a graduate student. Then on Saturday you will experience first hand a poster competition by our graduate students in addition to presentations delivered by the H&CS faculty. Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be served for all participants. We ask that any student planning to attend submit the RSVP section of the form by September 17.
