Obama Commemorative SmarTrip® Card

A permanent, rechargeable Limited-Edition farecard to commemorate the Inauguration of Barack Obama. It works just like a regular SmarTrip® Card that can hold up to $300 in value to pay for fares on Metrorail and Metrobus and for parking fees at Metro-operated parking facilities. The card costs $10 and it comes with no value on the card. Value must be added to the card before use. Value can be added at any Metrorail station, at the farebox on any Metrobus and on all regional bus systems. Available for sale only while supplies last.

7-day Rail Short Trip Pass

Valid for seven consecutive days of Metrorail trips costing up to $2.65 during peak periods (weekdays 5:30-9:30 a.m. and 3-7 p.m.) or trips of any cost at all other times. If a trip costs more than $2.65 during peak periods, you may use the Exitfare machine to add fare. The pass will be returned to you for continued use during valid period.

One Day Metrorail Pass

Valid for one day of unlimited Metrorail travel on weekdays after 9:30 a.m. or all day on Saturdays, Sundays or federal holidays. The pass expires at 4:00 a.m. on the day following first day of use.

Valid for a week of unlimited travel on Metrobus. The pass covers the full fare on regular Metrobus routes and $1.25 of the $3.00 fare on express routes.
