Residential Photovoltaics
The grant program promotes the use of photovoltaics by granting half the cost of installing a system up to $3,000.
No system components can be funded that are purchased or installed prior to the last signature being affixed to the grant agreement between the WBC and the property owner. The mailing address of the applicant and the physical address where the system will be installed are also required.
Applications will be accepted by E-Mail, Fax, regular mail or hand delivery between the 1st and third Mondays in June. (June 2, 2009 through June 16, 2009). Applications will be accepted until 5:00 P.M.on the third Monday in June. After the close of the application period, if more than 25 applications are received, a random drawing will be done to determine which applicants will receive grants. A total of 25 grants will be awarded.
