Principles for Success: an introduction to Holistic Management
the whole, the goal, the plan –2-day intensive with Nebraska’s Terry Gompert.

HM Certified Educators gathering for continuing education

March 5, 6-9pm
Opening Reception, hosted by Holistic Management International

March 6 (Friday)
What is happening here - two tracks

  1. 10am - 12pm
    Learning to see – a Walkabout with Allan Savory – limited in attendance to 30. Extra charge $30 (to cover bussing, etc.)
  2. 9am - 12pm
    Innovations in Land Management
    9am -Holistic Management Goes Mainstream – Peter Holter, CEO, Holistic Management International
    10am - 12pm - How to integrate Keyline with Holistic Planned Grazing – Abe Collins instructs in the use of this and other leading edge techniques for healthier land and better forage.
Noon – Lunch

1:00 Policy workshop – Allan Savory
3:00 Break
3:15 Working groups discuss policies such as: water, energy, climate change, ainmal identification
4:30 - Adjourn

10:30 Track 2 – What You Don’t Know Will Disturb You –Ron Chapman

12:45pm – The HMI TEXAS Annual Business Meeting – presentation on exciting programs, electing board & officers

Afternoon session – The future of the HM path

1:15pm Carbon Issues panel - Amy Hardberger (EDF), Abe Collins, Terry Gompert

Cancellation policy: a $25 handling fee for refunds will be charged if you cancel before the registration deadline of February 11. No refunds after that date.

A limited number of scholarships are available. Sponsorships are available.
