The Maryland Transit Administration is pleased to announce special MARC Train and Commuter Bus services for events surrounding
the Martin Luther King Holiday on January 19, 2009 and the Inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.

    MARC Ticket Information and Purchase Instructions

    ALL MARC Train tickets are SOLD OUT! Commuter Bus tickets will be sold on-board the bus.

    All Inauguration Day MARC Trains are sold out. All tickets purchased on-line or by phone from www.commuterdirect.com will be delivered by FedEx by January 16. If you do not receive your tickets by January 16, please call 703-228-RIDE.

    Each passenger must have two tickets - one inbound, one outbound. Remember to bring both tickets with you. Tickets will only be accepted on the train that is marked on the reverse side, either with a black X or a red MARC stamp. If there is a red MARC stamp, disregard the black X.

    BWI Airport Information

    MARC Trains provide service to the BWI Rail Station, where free shuttles serve the airport terminal. MARC service will operate on a (S) special schedule for the Martin Luther King Holiday and on reserved schedules for the Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies.
