Human Resources Consulting Main Areas:
- Diagnosing the human resources and general management climate: Through employee interviews, climate study, and working with the Department of Workforce Services to determine the “word on the street” for companies.
- Consolidation of the climate study and development of recommendations to company management.
- Facilitation and implementation of recommendations: These generally fall into the following areas:
- Compensation - To work with management and employees to develop position descriptions, wage and salary structures. Assist management in reviewing current employees against structure, development and implementation of management and sales incentive programs and training the team to use these programs.
- Performance Management Programs - To work with management to develop programs that complement their style and train the team on implementing the program.
- Selection and Recruiting Process – To review and implement a professional recruiting process that focuses on competency- based interviewing and training of staff.
- Employee Communication - To review or assist in developing an employee guidebook which formalizes the human resources process. To train the management team and employees in these programs.
- Training - Based on employee focus meetings, work with management and employees to assess training needs for the organization and recommended approaches, training and alternatives.
- Benefits Review and Consulting – To assist management in the review and updating of benefits and communication of the benefits package to employees.
- General human resources and business consulting: Provides the company with human resources and general business expertise in such areas as the facilitation of strategic planning, career and manpower planning, discipline issues, organization structure, staffing and general business.
