Open a FLEX Account
This will allow one to signup for a Flexible Spending Account on-line. Once you agree to the Terms & Conditions, the account will be assigned to your record and available for immediate use. Once the account is open, you may add funds via cash, check, debit card or Bursar Charge (Students Only).

Check Account Balances
One may check their current balances for their Food Points, FLEX Account and Board Plan Meals. Board Plan Meals is balance of Dinner/Brunch meals only.

View Account Statements
Each month, the DukeCard Office provides an Account statement for Food Points and FLEX activity. One may go view up to six (6) months worth of activity. The DukeCard also sends out a paper statement and one may choose to discontinue the paper statement and support the Duke Greening Initiative.

Add Funds via Bursar Charge (Students Only)
Students may add funds to Food Points and FLEX accounts and charge it back to their Bursar Account. One may charge up to $750 in FLEX and $1,500 in Food Points per semester.

Setup Payroll Deduction for FLEX Deposits (Eligible Employees Only)
Eligible employees may select to have funds deposited once a month to their FLEX account from payroll deduction. The DukeCard Office will process the request upon submission. Funds are not immediately available. See page for schedule.

SignUp for Recreation Center
Employees may signup for a full year membership via payroll deduction. Graduate Students may signup for a semester membership and charge the fee to their Bursar account.

SignUp for a Dining Plan
Students may select a Dining Plan for the upcoming semester.

Change a Dining Plan
Students may change their Fall Dining plan for the Spring semester. One may also upgrade their Dining plan for the current semester. Additional Food Points are available immediately when upgrading.

Suspend a DukeCard
One may suspend their DukeCard immediately. One may NOT re-instate their DukeCard over this website or by phone.

Set DukeCard Verification Code (DVC)
One may set their DVC for the first time or reset a forgotten DVC. Change will take affect immediately.

Faculty Charge Account
Faculty members may apply for a charge account which allows them to purchase meals at campus dining facilities and have the bill deducted from their paycheck each month
