About The AAPG Foundation

The AAPG Foundation was established in 1967 with the primary goal of providing a source of funding for educational, charitable and scientific objectives, which directly and indirectly benefit the geologic profession and the general public.

The current Board of Trustees consists of a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and two additional members empowered to formulate rules, regulations, and practices relative to the Foundation's day-to-day business.
