Lori Barreras
Director, Human Resources
As Director of Human Resources, Lori Barreras leads the Laboratory’s efforts to attract, develop and retain outstanding, diverse and engaged staff through effective workforce planning and recruiting, staff development, competitive compensation and benefit plans, and proactive staff and labor relations.
Before joining ORNL in August 2005, Lori was Manager of Workforce and Staffing Programs at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Richland, Washington. Prior to joining PNNL, she worked at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Internal Revenue Service.
Lori received her B.S. in Business Management from Arizona State University.
