The 2009 VRE application is now online!  In an effort to make the application process more efficient and economical we have eliminated the proof of employment requirement.  We hope this change will be agreeable to everyone and that we will not have to reinstate proof of employment due to parking misuse.

Commuter parking is free, but you must obtain a red permit to park in the commuter lots. You can receive a hang-tag by submitting the VRE application online now.  We will mail your permit to you.

Certain commuter lots are designated for City resident commuters displaying a current City decal. Please note the signs at the entrances to ensure that you are parking in the correct lot. Please see the parking map to ensure you are parking in the correct lot. 

Due to the financing for the future parking garage, we are limited to issuance of six-month permits. Please note the two different sides of the permit and hang it accordingly per calendar date.
