The State of Wyoming offers many resources to help businesses with their employee training needs from providing workforce training grants to helping them find the right kind of training in their community. Workforce assistance includes information on higher educational institutions, Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, Workforce Development Training Grants, Wyoming Workforce Alliance, Human Resources Consulting and training programs.
In addition to providing information on workforce assistance, the Wyoming Business Council’s Web site also connects to various employment opportunities through the University of Wyoming Center for Advising and Career Services, Wyoming Job Network and State of Wyoming Jobs.
Wyoming Department of Workforce Services

Workforce Development Training Fund Grants
The Workforce Development Training Fund (WDTF) is administered by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. Two major types of grants are provided through the
WDTF: Business Training Grants, which provide opportunities for Wyoming's new or current businesses to create new jobs or to complete necessary skill upgrades to stay competitive in today's economy; and Pre-Hire Economic Development Grants, which are used as a pre-employment, workforce development tool to prepare workers to fill gaps in high-demand/high-growth occupations. Pre-approval of funding for large business expansions or relocations to Wyoming may be applied
for through a Pre-Obligation of WDTF funds application. Please see the

Wyoming Workforce Alliance
The Wyoming Workforce Alliance (WWA) was formed to improve the access to short-term training, develop the competencies and work-readiness skills that Wyoming’s workers need to obtain employment and advance in today's job market, and respond to employer's need for qualified employees to successfully operate their businesses. Training Programs
The Wyoming Business Council facilitates the licensing and implementation of nationally recognized workforce training programs such as the following:
- Quick Start - The Wyoming Business Council and the Wyoming Community College Commission (WCCC) have joined in an interstate partnership with the State of Georgia to help improve workforce development programs in Wyoming. The Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education (DTAE) will license three of its training certification programs to the Business Council and the WCCC. This is the first interstate partnership program of its kind for Georgia. Under the agreement DTAE will license the following programs for use in Wyoming: Certified Customer Service Specialist; Certified Manufacturing Specialist; Certified Warehousing & Distribution Specialist. - Development Dimensions International (DDI) - The Supervisory and Leadership Training programs have been licensed from Development Dimensions International (DDI) by the Wyoming Business Council and the seven Wyoming community colleges. The DDI curriculum in professional and leadership development can be delivered in half-day, full-day or multi-day formats to meet your time frame and training needs. DDI excels in two major areas: designing and implementing selection systems that enable organizations to hire better people faster; identifying and developing exceptional leadership talent crucial to creating a workforce that drives business results. Higher Educational Institutions
The state's higher educational institutions, composed of the seven community colleges and the University of Wyoming, offer nationally recognized workforce training.
