UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM TO BE CLOSED INAUGURATION DAY – JANUARY 20, 2009
What:
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum will be closed on January 20, 2009. Current security plans for Inauguration Day call for the closing of bridges, streets and Metro stations in the vicinity of the Museum making it extremely difficult for both staff and visitors to access the building.
The Museum will reopen on January 21 with normal hours of 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Information on the Museum’s operating hours is also available at www.ushmm.org.
