Science and Technology Agency (JST) is a
semi-governmental organization under the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
JST's mission is to promote science and technology in
Japan by conducting a broad range of activities,
including funding for basic research projects,
transferring research results at universities and public
research institutes to companies, building and
distributing a variety of databases of scientific and
technological information, promoting researcher exchange
and promoting public understanding of science and
technology.
JST Malaysia Office focuses on strengthening cooperation
among scientific and technological information centers
as well as promoting mutual understanding between JST
and our counterpart organizations, scientists and
researchers in Southeast Asia. In addition the Office
keeps watching the S&T trend in the region and collects
information for our policy making and activities. |
