Program Description

The objective of this program is to support postdoctoral fellows who have completed their residency training or Ph.D.s in the health sciences for 1 to 3 years each to pursue a career in health services research. The program will be comprised of two major components:

  • Participation in the M.P.H. program which includes a mentored research apprenticeship.
  • Participation in formal career development and mentoring activities.

The program takes advantage of strong collaborations between Vanderbilt and the State Health Department and Meharry Medical College.
