FEMA's Office of National Capital Region Coordination (NCRC) oversees and coordinates Federal programs for and relationships with State, local, and regional authorities in the National Capital Region (NCR). The NCRC was established by the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (P.L. 107-296), Section 882 with responsibility to:
