During 8th-22nd August, "National Science and Technology Fair 2008 in Thailand" was held at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC). This exhibition was hosted by National Science Museum and MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology), and held to diffuse scientific and technological information domestically and internationally, to raise awareness of science and technology and to encourage science education. This is the largest scientific and technological fair in Thailand which over one million people visit during a run of two weeks. The theme of this year was "Science forges the future of Thailand" and there were exhibitions about 'global warming', 'the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth', 'space technology', and so on.
JST Malaysia Office exhibited the booth and introduced the major results of JST, cooperative research with Thailand and monthly magazines called "Science Window" which are for school teachers. There were many visitors, mainly elementary, junior high and high school students, and school teachers.
