Does My Profession Qualify?
Please see the Federal Register Notice link under "Updated Documents" below to find a list of professions that we currently fund. If your profession and degree is one that is listed, you may apply to the IHS Loan Repayment Program. At any time during the application process, you may be asked to submit a copy of your diploma or transcripts indicating degree(s) earned.

 Application & Award Deadlines

Applications Accepted & Evaluated
  — Monthly from January through September 30 each award year. The application deadline is the Friday of the second full week of each month.

Notice of Awards Mailed
  — On the last working day of each month.

Service Period
  — Begins no later than September 30.
