AIPH - International Association of Horticultural Producers

AIPHThe AIPH is a coordinating body representing horticultural producers' organisations all over the world. It was founded in Switzerland in 1948 to stimulate international marketing of flowers, plants and landscaping services. An increasing number of growers organisations have joined AIPH with 26 countries represented in 2006. Member countries pay a membership fee. AIPH is publishing the annual AIPH Statistical Yearbook which can be purchased through ISHS as a result of the AIPH-ISHS partnership.

CIHEAM - International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies

CIHEAMFounded in 1962, CIHEAM is an intergovernmental organisation comprising thirteen member countries from the Mediterranean Basin (Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Tunisia and Turkey). In pursuing its three central missions (education, research and cooperation) CIHEAM has come to be recognised as an authority in its fields of activity: Mediterranean agriculture, food and sustainable rural development.

GlobalHort - Global Horticultural Initiative

GlobalHortGlobalHort: A new milestone in the fight against poverty and hunger was set in March 2006 by the launch of the Global Horticulture Initiative (GHI). Over $2.5 million was pledged to develop horticultural systems in the world’s poorest countries. The initiative will have a substantial impact on the health and prosperity of millions in Africa and other developing countries. Initiated and guided by ARVDC - The World Vegetable Center, the launch of this international initiative brought together funding agencies from industrial countries, and researchers and stakeholders from all over the world.

ISMS - International Society for Mushroom Science

ISMSThe International Society for Mushroom Science (ISMS) seeks to further the cultivation of edible (including medicinal) macrofungi. It is non-political and non-profit making. The objectives of ISMS are the dissemination of information on new developments and the science of mushrooms and to stimulate exchange of new ideas between growers and scientists around the world.
