Welcome to Dave's water gardens forum. From the original water gardens, which appeared in Egypt some 4000 years ago to the Japanese inspired variations, still popular today, the relaxing past time of water gardens have continued to develop as an art form.

In today's modern backyard landscaping, there are a variety of directions you can take your pond - each with their own rewards as well as their trials and tribulation. Many of our members have been working on their water garden years and they are a wealth of information for those of you who might just be getting started with your own pond. From fountains and designs to plants, koi, maintenance, and supplies, our members will be happy to address your questions and comments about your unique aquatic garden.
