Privacy Notice

HUD respects your right to privacy and will protect it when you visit our website.

To view our webcasts, you will need to use free software that you can download, called "Real Player." We provide a link to the website where you can get this software. When you install this software, the company who creates and offers the software may have different privacy policies than HUD. You should read their privacy statement before deciding to install their software.

Other Video Options

If you would prefer to see this broadcast in another way, you can take advantage of one of these options:

 -   Watch the video via satellite. Nearly every webcast is also transmitted via satellite. Contact Ralph Friend (202) 402-3186 for the satellite coordinates or watch the broadcast at your local HUD office.
 -   Visit a HUD office. Nearly every HUD office has a public use computer workstation called a "HUD Answer Machine" that allows you to view HUD's webcasts.
 -   Request a videotape. For SuperNOFA videotapes, call 1-800-483-8929. For other videotapes, contact Ralph Friend (202) 708-3186.

If you're having trouble viewing a webcast, try these tips.
 -   Be sure you've downloaded the Basic RealOne Player. Be sure to download the free basic RealOne Player by selecting the player on the right-hand side of the Real.com page.
 -   If you are behind a firewall or proxy server, you may need assistance with proxy settings from your own information technology specialist first. If IT security allows it, open TCP port 554 on your firewall. If this request is denied and you have an http proxy server, you can stream through that. Inside the RealOne player under view => preferences you will find some proxy settings. Put in your proxy server and port and then go to the transport tab. Make sure you check on "use http only" while checking off all other transport selections.
 -   If your operating system is running Windows Media, you will still have to download the free Basic RealOne Player. HUD does not encode video for Windows Media at this time.
 -   If you think a webcast has been scheduled, but can't find the link on the webcast page, links don't appear on the webcast page until a few hours before the show starts.
 -   If you test the links before the start time, you should see a screen that indicates that you are too early for the show.
 -   If you missed the webcast and would like to view it now, please visit the archives. Shows are usually archived by the next business day.
