To find a SPECIES, just type in whatever you know about its name. Most species list scientific names (including synonyms) and common names in several languages.
To find all the species in a GEOGRAPHIC AREA, type in the name of the country in English (e.g., Finland instead of Suomi), or for Canada, the U.S., Mexico and China, the name of the state (e.g. Alberta, Oregon, Sonora, Sichuan).
To find all RECENTLY REVISED OR UPDATED PAGES, type in the year and month in ISO format (e.g. 2008.06). Note that Goggle usually takes about a month to find updated pages.
To find CITATIONS, type in the author's last name (e.g. Critchfield).
