Notes:
This position assists clients within the primary care setting in meeting short and long term health care needs by providing a variety of nursing services covered by the nursing scope of practice and the policies of the Juneau SEARHC Clinic. Patients are infants, children, adolescents, adults, and elders. Requirements include: degree from an accredited school of nursing with current RN license CPR training with update every 2 years continuing education to maintain RN licensure and at least 2 years experience as licensed RN, with office or ER experience preferred. Applicant must be competent in handling emergencies and emergency equipment. Basic knowledge of disease/health process required for making informed triage judgments. In addition, candidates must possess interpersonal communication skills, nursing judgment skills, and proficiency in the use of a variety of clinic equipment.
