Study Abroad
Why Study Abroad?
The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) offers a variety of programs around the world.
From Asia to Central America to Europe, CAFNR students can be found all over the globe at any time during the year.
Students get a fresh perspective on their education and place in the world, explore ideas with new friends, and learn a new language.
International experience can add a vital dimension to a student's undergraduate career.

Canada
During this 14-day excursion, you will be exposed to Canadian culture while traveling from the city of Calgary to Olympic Park in Northwestern Washington State. Any MU student can participate in this study abroad trip provided you have at least a 2.0 GPA.
New Zealand
The semester study abroad program at Lincoln University (LU) in New Zealand offers an amazing opportunity for students to explore and immerse themselves in a new culture and country. The South Island of New Zealand offers some of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world.
A winter break program, Intro to Agriculture and Natural Resources, is also offered.
South Africa
The semester-long program at the University of Pretoria offers an amazing opportunity for you to immerse yourself in a country that has dramatically changed in the past 10 years. Academically, you can take advantage of the wide selection of courses in the Faculty (College) of Natural and Agricultural Sciences as well as other departments.
