Top of the Page Temperature / Dewpoint

1. The high temperature on August 2nd, 2001 at the Austin Mabry/Austin City observation site reached only 96 degrees. This ended the record setting 21 consecutive day streak that the mercury had reached or exceeded the century mark at this location. This was the first time since July 11th that the temperature failed to reach 100 degrees. The previous record was 19 days set between July 12th, 1235 amd July 30th, 1925.
