The Statewide IPM Program sponsors or supports several research and extension grants programs.

Cooperative Extension IPM Demonstration Grants Program

The goal of this program is to promote the implementation of IPM practices in production agriculture and in residential and urban areas, and to protect natural areas such as wildlands and water bodies through demonstrations of IPM practices.

 

UC IPM Competitive Research Grants Program

Important Announcement—Fall 2008 Call for New Proposals for 2009-10 funding suspended

Through this state-funded program, UC IPM sponsors IPM research projects that are expected to result in tools and techniques to help pest managers make better decisions.

UC Exotic/Invasive Pests and Diseases Research Program

Important Announcement—Call for New Proposals, March, 2007

UC IPM and the UC Center for Invasive Species Research, through a special grant from USDA, support projects that address exotic pests and diseases/invasive species in agricultural, urban, or natural environments.

Pierce's Disease Research Grants Program

In 2005, UC IPM began administering the UC Pierce's Disease Research Grants Program. The program, established in 2000, is supported by USDA-CSREES.
