Announcements

The UC IPM competitive research grants program was suspended for 2009-10.

UC IPM Director recruitment seminars scheduled for Sept. 9 through Sept. 25. Faculty, staff, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

UC ANR released the second edition Integrated Pest Management for Strawberries (ANR 3351) in June 2008.

A new set of educational DVDs, IPM in Schools Training (Publ. 6589D), was released in May 2008.

The "Water-Related Risks of Active Ingredients—Compare Treatments" program and database, accessible from any PMG treatment table, has been updated to calculate water quality risks based on pesticides utilized and field soil types according to USDA NRCS specifications. It includes a geographical information service component provided by UCKAC GIS Facility.
