Wisconsin has a rich legacy of conservation. From the Coon Creek Watershed to Aldo Leopold and John Muir. Wisconsin has demonstrated its strong conservation ethic.

Aldo Leopold Foundation  From his Sauk County shack, Leopold wrote his famous Sand County Almanac, which served as the foundation of conservation policy and ethics.

John Muir - Muir spent his youth in Marquette County Wisconsin on the family farm before attending the University of Wisconsin.
