Job Search Advice

In conducting your job search, you will be dealing with a lot of information that needs to be managed and used to your advantage. This form (PDF) will help you track your movement in the search. More importantly, it will keep you on target for the important follow-up with contacts.

Job Search Methods

One job search method may be quite effective for a particular student, while a different job search method is more suitable for another student.

For example, on-campus interviewing may be the most effective job search method for a student majoring in agribusiness management, while attending career fairs may yield the majority of job contacts for an ag journalism major.

Taking part in several job search methods greatly enhances your opportunities. If you are interested in discussing your job search one-on-one, please call 573-882-0088 or e-mail Career Services to schedule an appointment.
