Mission

The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is working with others to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.

Resource Vision Statement

The vision of the Raleigh Field Office is to collaboratively foster vibrant, healthy, abundant and self-sustaining Federal trust resources within the Piedmont, Sandhills, and Coastal Plain by promoting reasonable science-based conservation. These Federal trust resources include: endangered and threatened species and at-risk species, migratory birds, migratory fish, National Wildlife Refuges, and the ecosystems on which they depend.

Office Vision Statement

The Raleigh Field Office staff functions as a mutually supportive, professional and successful team. Members of the team are proactive, ethical, respectful of one another and our partners, and share a common resource vision. We have recognized expertise, field based knowledge, and capabilities to attain our resource vision. The office space provides a friendly, positive, safe, and enriching environment in which to work.
