  MAINE STATE TECHNICAL COMMITTEE 
 

There will be a meeting of the USDA State Technical Committee on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Spectacular Events Center located at 395 Griffin Road in Bangor.  The purpose of the meeting is to review the status of the 2008 Farm Bill, to hear about efforts to assess and prioritize natural resource concerns of Maine's forests, to discuss statewide resource priorities, and to receive program input for 2009.  The Farm Service Agency's conservation programs will also be discussed.  The meeting is open to the public.
