Illinois Alternate Fuels Rebate Program - Updated May, 2008!
This program is available to any resident, business, local government or organization in Illinois. It offers rebates to anyone using E-85 or biodiesel fuels, and for acquiring vehicles that run on alternate fuels. All E-85 and Biodiesel Fuel Rebate applications for 2008 are to be submitted by January 31, 2009 for consideration.Vehicle and conversion rebate applications for 2008 are due by December 31, 2008. The Illinois Green Fleets Program is a voluntary program where businesses, government units, and other organizations in Illinois gain recognition and additional marketing opportunities for having clean, green, domestic, renewable, American fuel vehicles in their fleet. It is a program to recognize a fleet manager's progressive efforts in using environmentally friendly vehicles and fuels to improve air quality while promoting our domestic fuels for greater national energy security.
