Information for Homeowners, Urban and Suburban Land Users

Picture of homeNRCS New Mexico works with groups like Master Gardeners, open space advocates and small farmers in suburban areas to bring conservation into the world of the homeowner.  Water conservation is proclaimed the number one issue in New Mexico.  Propagation of plants suitable for xeriscaping is important, as are water conscious irrigation systems used by New Mexico's many small farmers.  NRCS staff has the knowledge and experience help the homeowner reach the resources needed.
