About Michigan NRCS
The Michigan Natural Resources Conservation Service (originally named the
Soil Conservation Service) has provided conservation
technical assistance to Michigan landowners since the 1930's. The first
Michigan Soil Conservation Service Office was established on the campus of
Michigan State University in 1958.
