by the Construction
Safety Council, covers identification of common fall hazards (associated
with scaffolding, ladders, roofs, steel erection, concrete work, and
poor housekeeping), reduction of hazards (through review of blueprints
and preplanning, with a checklist), systems for fall prevention, arrest,
and restraint (including guardrails, hole covers, safety nets, positioning
systems, and PPE), specialized fall protection systems (safety monitor,
warning line, controlled access zone, fall protection plan), and provides
the text of OSHA subpart M, which applies to construction, except
ladders, scaffolds, and steel erection. |
